Job Title: Energy Building Services Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Building Services Engineer to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing technical solutions that deliver carbon, energy, and financial savings for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a close working relationship with the Technical Operations Manager to review, improve, and successfully achieve objectives.
  • Record, monitor, and advise the Technical Operations Manager on any deviations in technical approach and the savings guaranteed.
  • Be accountable for the technical aspects of large-scale energy performance programs.
  • Conduct regular technical and quality audits on site with the delivery team and associated supply chain members to ensure that the final installations meet the design intent.
  • Undertake technical surveys on existing buildings and produce proposals/reports that are geared towards the targeted audience and present findings to the client and key stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience of developing and managing technical solutions for the purposes of delivering guaranteed carbon, energy, and financial savings for existing buildings.
  • Excellent technical understanding of mainstream energy conservation measures such as Solar PV, Air Source Heat Pumps, LED Lighting upgrades, BMS Optimisation.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Measurement and Verification and the principles of IPMVP.
  • Ability to produce High Level Appraisals and Investment Grade Proposals.
  • Ability to manage and influence both internal & external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellency in verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
