About Cygnet Sherwood Lodge

Cygnet Health Care is a leading provider of specialist mental health services. Our team at Cygnet Sherwood Lodge supports 26 men with learning disabilities and associated complex needs, who may also have behaviours that challenge.

As a Care Professional with Learning Disabilities Expertise, you will work closely with our experienced team to deliver high-quality care and support to our service users. Your role will involve:

  • Offering enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all individuals in our care
  • Providing guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support
  • Learning about individuals' specific needs and providing help in the most appropriate way
  • Assisting with medical and welfare needs
  • Reporting on medical and welfare needs as required
  • Safeguarding individuals from harm
  • Maintaining a safe, clean environment for all

We offer competitive salaries, with a starting rate of £12 per hour, rising to £12.50 after 18 months. This is a full-time position, working 42 hours per week, including a mix of day shifts, night shifts, and weekends.
