Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will have the opportunity to work bank shifts at various services across the East Midlands, including Sherwood House, Sherwood Lodge, and Cygnet Hospital Sherwood. As a Mental Health Care Support Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health needs, autism, and learning disabilities.
- Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all service users.
- Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
- Learn about individual specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way.
- Assist with medical and welfare needs.
- Report on medical and welfare needs as required.
- Safeguard service users and maintain a safe, clean environment.
Cygnet Health Care offers a competitive salary package, estimated to be around £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience. RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you will need to be genuinely driven, an excellent communicator, sensitive and intuitive, and passionate about empowering and supporting service user independence. You will also be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
