About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Configuration Management to join our team at Airbus Defence & Space. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our configuration management efforts and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of configuration managers and document controllers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Develop and implement configuration management strategies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective configuration management practices are in place.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to projects, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of configuration management services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in configuration management, with a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex configuration management issues.
  • Experience working with Product Life Management (PLM) tools, preferably Windchill.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand and interpret business requirements.
