London, Greater London, United Kingdom Proud to Care Devon Full time

Proud to Care Devon is a leader in delivering high-quality social care services in Devon. As a Devon Social Worker Career Opportunities specialist, you will contribute to our mission by delivering a personalized and person-centred approach to assessment, support planning, safeguarding, and review.

Our experienced social care teams are dedicated to making a real difference to the lives of individuals with mental health conditions. We operate in a rural environment where public transport may not be available, so it is essential that you hold a current full driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

As a member of our team, you will receive ongoing learning and support from your line manager, enabling you to develop your skills and knowledge. You will also have the opportunity to submit an application for progression to the Experienced Social Worker (Grade G) via a portfolio of supporting evidence against the PCF framework.

The successful candidate will be based in Devon and will require occasional travel to other locations within the county. A comprehensive working knowledge of the issues impacting social care delivery is essential, and you will be expected to stay up-to-date with policy and practice development.

We offer a salary of £45,697 - £54,704 per annum, plus 26 days annual leave, rising incrementally to 31 days after 5 years' service. You will also have access to flexible working opportunities, including part-time hours, flexitime, compressed working hours, and homeworking.

Relocation support of up to £10,000 is available for eligible candidates, and visa sponsorship may also be offered as part of the relocation package, subject to terms and conditions.
