London, Greater London, United Kingdom Proud to Care Devon Full time

Proud to Care Devon is proud to offer a unique opportunity for a Newly Qualified Social Services Manager to join our Adults' Services team. As a Newly Qualified Social Worker, you will have the chance to apply what you've learnt to real situations, alongside developing your skills and knowledge.

The estimated annual salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer 26 days annual leave, plus Bank Holidays, rising incrementally to 31 days after 5 years' service.

In this challenging yet rewarding role, you will work with adults in Devon, using your expertise to provide proactive and assertive support. You will be supported by our ASYE programme, which offers a positive introduction to social work with adults in Devon and the profession in general.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognised professional Social Work Qualification (BA/BSC in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work or CQSW) and to hold Social Work England registration by October 2025.
  • Current knowledge and understanding of policies and processes and some experience of working within a social care environment.
  • Proactive and assertive in your approach, you are confident in making best judgements (but you won't be afraid to ask questions) and building effective working relationships with your professional network.

We also offer excellent training opportunities, flexible working hours, and a generous Local Government Pension Scheme. If you are currently living, working or studying in the UK and are looking to relocate to Devon, subject to qualifying conditions, relocation support of up to £10,000 may be available.
