About the Opportunity:

This role offers a competitive salary of £35,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including 26 days annual leave, rising to 31 days after 5 years' service, flexible working options, and entry into a generous Local Government Pension Scheme.

Key Accountabilities:

  • To provide expert social care services to individuals with mental health conditions, leveraging a strengths-based approach to achieve positive outcomes.
  • To collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, promoting a culture of co-production and involving service users and carers in service design and delivery.
  • To stay abreast of policy and practice developments, contributing to the enhancement of social care services in Devon.

Essential Requirements:

  • A degree in social work (CQSW, DipSW, BA Hons, MA or equivalent) and registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in social care, preferably in a strengths-based practice environment.
  • A strong understanding of the Care Act 2014 and its implications for social care delivery.
  • A valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle, given the necessity for travel in rural areas.
