This Senior Clinical Operations Manager role at Adaptimmune requires a seasoned professional to drive the global clinical trial delivery of our programs. As a key member of the Clinical Development Operations team, you will oversee the strategic direction of clinical trials and lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful program execution.
Key Accountabilities- Protocol Development and Submission: Lead the development and submission of clinical trial protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Site Selection and Activation: Identify and select suitable clinical trial sites, activate sites, and ensure timely initiation of studies.
- Team Collaboration and Leadership: Foster a collaborative environment among cross-functional teams, provide guidance and coaching to junior staff, and drive results-oriented decision-making.
- Risk Management and Contingency Planning: Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity.
Essential Criteria
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a life science field, 7+ years of experience in clinical research operations, including leading cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of managing multiple clinical trials simultaneously, with expertise in regulatory affairs and clinical trial management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
