Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts and drive business growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building relationships with target accounts, converting new enquiries into orders, and developing and executing sales strategies to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build relationships with key decision-makers, and negotiate sales agreements.
  • Key Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identify new sales opportunities, and increase revenue growth.
  • Technical Sales: Communicate technical and commercial information to customers, identify customer needs, and provide solutions to meet those needs.
  • Digital Marketing: Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to grow the business, including social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • CRM and IT: Utilize CRM software to manage customer relationships, track sales activity, and analyze sales data. Develop and maintain sophisticated IT skills to support sales efforts.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven technical sales experience, with a strong track record of sales success, preferably in a business-to-business (B2B) environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the power or PPE industry sector or analogous field is desirable but not essential.
