Key Responsibilities:

  1. New Business Development: Build relationships with target accounts and convert new enquiries into orders.
  2. Key Account Management: Manage existing customers, focusing on retention and account development.
  3. Technical Communication: Communicate at a technical and commercial level when identifying, discussing, and understanding customer requirements and selecting suitable product(s).
  4. Digital Media: Use digital media and modern channels to grow the business, drive new media and marketing channels, and develop a strategy for social media promoting brand management and positioning.

Requirements:

  1. An academic achiever in a Business, Marketing, or Technical related subject is desirable.
  2. Technical B2B sales and digital marketing experience ideally gained within an SME, having developed novel plans for market penetration and delivering to the commercial/business plan.
  3. Knowledge of the power or PPE industry sector or analogous field would be advantageous but not essential.
  4. Proven Technical Sales experience, able to sell solutions, devise proposals, develop profitable business, and create strong revenue streams while building relationships and delighting customers.
  5. An Account Manager, able to re-engage with lapsed customers and build relationships with old and new prospects at all levels.
  6. CRM experience is desirable along with sophisticated IT skills.
  7. Flexibility is required to plan visits and travel to customer sites.
