About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and supportive individual to join our team as a Domestic Abuse Support Worker in Ellesmere Port. As a leading healthcare recruiter, Jane Lewis is committed to delivering high-quality care and support to vulnerable individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals and families experiencing domestic abuse
- Assess and implement risk assessments to ensure the safety of clients
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and community partners
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support services
- Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to confidentiality and data protection policies
Requirements:
- Age 18 or above
- Right to work in the UK
- UK residency (no sponsorship or relocation packages available)
- Valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle (if applicable)
- Prior experience in domestic abuse support or equivalent qualification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of the sector and its challenges
- Ability to work with diverse client groups and populations
- Flexibility to work day shifts and sleep-in shifts
