Senior Leadership Development Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Ministry Development Team as the Head of Leadership Development. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the development of Christian leaders within the Church of England.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive leadership development strategy that aligns with the Church of England's national vision and strategy.
- Lead the design and delivery of the national Incumbent development programme, focusing on the development of clergy to lead churches with a flourishing ministry with children, young people, and their families.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with delivery partners, including Theological Education Institutions, to ensure the effective delivery of the programme.
- Develop and implement an evaluation framework to measure the impact of the programme and inform future design.
- Present at governance meetings and project boards to consult with and influence senior leaders across the Church.
- Manage a comprehensive central database to track programme participation, evaluation data, and learning insights.
- Lead the establishment and coordination of a learning community to share programme insights and learning.
- Coach senior leaders from leadership programmes as opportunities arise.
- Contribute to writing reports for key bodies, including the House of Bishops, the College of Bishops, and General Synod.
- Deputise for the Head of Senior Leadership Development in internal and external meetings as required.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional who is passionate about leadership development and has a deep understanding of the Church of England's national vision and strategy. You will have excellent strategic and operational skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with delivery partners and stakeholders. You will also have experience in designing and delivering leadership development programmes, with a focus on evaluation and impact.
What We Offer- A salary of £66,186 plus age-related pension contributions between 8-15% of salary.
- 30 days annual leave plus 8 Bank holidays and NCI days.
- Flexible working hours and location, with an expectation of just 1-2 days per week in our office in Westminster.
