Residential Team Manager

This is a challenging and rewarding role within Gloucestershire County Council, where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people.

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading shifts and providing support and guidance to front-line practitioners on a day-to-day basis. You will work closely with senior managers to ensure risk assessments and related management plans are implemented effectively, reviewed regularly, and updated as required.

The role will also see you taking responsibilities as a keyworker and attending meetings and reviews as required. You will work directly with children and young people, ensuring their well-being and working closely with their families to maintain effective lines of communication.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) and evidence of continued professional development. A full driving licence and willingness to drive are also essential.
