About the Role:

The Team Leader position at Embrace Care involves contributing to the provision of a safe and supportive environment, leading a team of support workers, and promoting a culture of reflection, equality, diversity, and inclusivity. This role requires a strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures, as well as the ability to work flexibly and undertake other relevant duties as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans and risk assessments, ensuring the needs of our clients are met.
  • Lead and support a team of support workers, providing guidance and supervision to ensure high-quality care is delivered.
  • Promote a culture of reflection, equality, diversity, and inclusivity, ensuring our clients receive person-centered care.
  • Adhere to all safeguarding policies and procedures, reporting any concerns or incidents without delay.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of care services.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in a supervisory capacity, supporting individuals with neurodiversity, Autism, Behaviours that Challenge, Learning Disabilities, and Mental Ill health.
  • Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • CQC Knowledge and a valid driving license.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Care Certificate.
  • DBS certificate.

Compensation Package:

£13.75 - £14.75 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, equivalent to £33,600 to £35,600 inclusive of sleeps.
