Role Overview

As the Solutions Architect Lead, you will be at the forefront of our product development, responsible for leading a team of solutions architects, evaluating new technologies, and building Proof of Concepts (POCs). You will play a vital role in enhancing performance, maintaining existing capabilities, and ensuring our products remain current and aligned with industry standards and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mentor and guide a team of solutions architects, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Validate and integrate new technologies to enhance our hosting products and features.
  • Develop and construct POCs to demonstrate the feasibility and potential of new solutions.
  • Continuously improve the performance and reliability of existing hosting products.
  • Ensure all capabilities are up-to-date and aligned with industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners to understand requirements and deliver high-quality products.
  • Maintain and expand your expertise in virtualization technologies, such as VMware, KVM, Azure, AWS, and other relevant technologies.
  • Leverage your knowledge of security, Linux, Windows, and web hosting platforms (Plesk, cPanel, DirectAdmin) to enhance our offerings.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a managed hosting or cloud services environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering automated customer-facing solutions at scale.
  • Strong understanding of security practices and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Expertise in virtualization technologies, such as VMware, KVM.
  • Extensive experience with web hosting platforms such as Plesk, cPanel, and DirectAdmin.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Desirable knowledge of Azure and AWS cloud platforms.
