Position Overview

Lead Solutions Architect - Commodity Trading Sector

Cititec Talent is in search of a Lead Solutions Architect to join a prominent firm in the Commodity Trading sector. This role is pivotal in aligning the trading architecture with the innovative business strategies of the organization.

The successful candidate will undertake a comprehensive review of the existing architecture, recommend advanced solutions, and ensure that all systems are optimized for operational efficiency. This includes the creation of detailed technical designs that cater to the security, infrastructure, cloud, and networking teams.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a trading environment as a solutions or enterprise architect.
  • Strong background in solution architecture methodologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of C/ETRM or trading systems.
  • Ability to propose effective technical solutions and evaluate vendor products.
  • Familiarity with contemporary cloud technologies, preferably Azure or AWS.
  • Experience in data warehousing practices.
  • Exposure to messaging systems such as Kafka, Service Bus, or RabbitMQ.
  • Understanding of API connectivity principles.
  • Experience with front-to-back office operations.
