Partnerships Housing Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Partnerships Housing Manager to join our team at Vistry Group PLC. As a key member of our Partnerships Division, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of affordable homes across our business, working closely with our Director and regional business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate contracts for the sale of affordable housing to registered providers and other affordable housing providers, including PRS sector providers.
- Obtain and analyze affordable housing offers, providing a comprehensive affordable housing service to multiple regional business units.
- Research and evaluate local authority housing requirements, negotiating affordable housing terms in Section 106 Agreements.
- Build and maintain a network of registered provider client relationships, negotiating the sale of open market housing plots as required.
- Undertake scheme financial appraisals and viability assessments, advising business units on design requirements to meet client expectations.
- Attend project meetings with business units, clients, and local authorities to advise on affordable housing requirements, and prepare regular progress reports and board paper updates.
Requirements
- Previous experience within a housing association, residential house builder/developer, or local authority, with a strong understanding of the sale and purchase process for land and property on a freehold and leasehold basis.
- Experience of negotiating Section 106 agreements and affordable housing contracts, with a thorough understanding of the housing development process and project management skills.
- Strong financial and numeracy skills, with the ability to manage multiple key stakeholder relationships and demonstrate delivery and customer-focused behavior.
- A strong team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, with a preference for experience in delivering affordable housing contracts.
