Financial Accountant Role

As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organisation's financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Your primary role is to track and report on the organisation's financial transactions, providing valuable insights to support decision-making by management and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Prepare and generate periodic financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and other relevant financial regulations.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with management in the development and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Perform regular reconciliations of financial accounts.
  • Utilise accounting software and tools to streamline financial processes.
  • Ensure adherence to internal financial policies and procedures.
