We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Gallery Operations Coordinator to join our team at Castle Fine Art in Canterbury. As a key member of our gallery team, you will be responsible for maintaining gallery operations and standards, ensuring that all artwork is clearly labelled, accessible, and easy to find.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be confident and highly presentable, with an understanding of exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for setting up new artist releases, gallery events, and exhibitions throughout the year, as well as supporting the gallery team during peak times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the stockroom efficiently, ensuring that all artwork is clearly labelled and accessible.
  • Process all gallery deliveries correctly and in line with stockroom procedures.
  • Support the gallery team with re-hanging as and when required, including printing and displaying price tags and artist biographies for all artwork on show.
  • Support the gallery team in the organizing and running of artist appearances and other gallery events and exhibitions throughout the year.
  • Provide after-sales follow up with clients and provide feedback on client satisfaction.
  • Support the gallery team in the generation of sales as and when necessary.
