About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contracts Administrator to join our Buying Administration team at Lidl in Deutschland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our contracts administration process, working closely with Buyers and Suppliers to obtain supplier and product data, and confirming prices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write contracts for Food Own Label, Branded, Fresh Produce & Non-Food items for GB and/or any other Lidl country in a timely manner within agreed deadlines.
  • Check, send out, and receive price confirmation sheets within agreed business deadlines.
  • Send out, receive, and check supplier and product data requests via our Supplier Portal within agreed business deadlines, as well as other relevant documents like certificates (e.g. BRC, organic).
  • Urgently communicate item and/or price changes within our own department as well as to other Lidl countries.
  • Maintain a variety of Lidl purchasing systems (EKK, EKS, DMS, LNP, FAP, etc.) to a high standard of quality.
  • Ensure that all data quality queries like internal audit findings are looked into and closed out as soon as possible.
  • Keep business critical deadlines, ensuring that other departments can also meet their deadlines while keeping all parties informed.
  • Work with shared inboxes and allocate emails.
  • Support our suppliers and stakeholders with department-relevant requests.
  • Support our suppliers in using our systems, navigating our resources available to them.
  • Assist with project work and make suggestions for process improvements.

Requirements

  • Previous administration experience within an office environment.
  • Motivated, able to work well in a team and independently in a high-pressure environment.
  • Organized with the ability to multitask and work to targets and strict deadlines.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • A high degree of adaptability.
  • A confident approach with excellent communication skills.
  • The ability and confidence to communicate effectively with colleagues across all levels of the business.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Pro-active, approaching problems logically and calmly.
  • Fully proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Positive can-do attitude with the willingness to learn.
  • German speakers preferred, but not essential.
