Purchasing Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Purchasing Coordinator to join our Buying team at Lidl GB. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our purchasing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify contracts, invoices, and memos to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Collaborate with Buying departments to maintain high-quality standards and ensure timely distribution of critical information
- Verify supplier and item data to ensure seamless communication with customers and suppliers
- Organize and record national product group comparisons to inform purchasing decisions
- Contribute to a positive and error-free working environment by maintaining strict deadlines and high standards
Requirements
- Intermediate Excel skills are essential for data analysis and reporting
- Experience in Administration or a related field is desirable
- Highly focused and accurate with an uncompromising eye for detail
- Self-motivated and driven with excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work to targets and strict deadlines
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Positive can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt
- Ability to problem-solve and think critically
