About the Role:

You will deliver evidence-based interventions, using specialist communication tools like PECs and Makaton, to support students' learning and communication. Collaborating with SENCOs, therapists, and families, you will develop and implement personalized plans to promote engagement and independence.

Using your expertise and positive attitude, you will create a supportive learning environment, promoting social, emotional, and academic growth. You will also lead sensory and therapeutic activities, contributing to students' holistic development.

About You:

We are looking for an experienced and empathetic individual with a proven track record in supporting children with complex SEN needs in primary settings. Proficiency in PECs, Makaton, and other adaptive communication strategies is essential. A strong ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and carers is also crucial.
