About the Role

We are excited to announce an opportunity for an experienced autism specialist teaching assistant to join our team at a reputable special needs school in North London. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with autism and learning disabilities.

In this position, you will work closely with teachers to develop and implement individualized learning plans, provide one-to-one support to students, and contribute to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To provide tailored support to students with autism and learning disabilities
  • To collaborate with teachers to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • To maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
Requirements:
  • A relevant qualification in SEN or a related field (e.g., teaching assistant, learning support assistant)
  • Experience working with students with autism and learning disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is around £32,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also benefit from a range of perks, including pension schemes, eye test vouchers, travel season tickets, bike loans, and generous annual leave.
