About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Industry Business Development Manager, focusing on the Oil and Gas sector. As a key member of our Endress+Hauser Group, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategies to capitalize on emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your extensive knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry and its applications.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with our Marketing Manager to devise and implement strategies that align with our company's goals and objectives.
  • Cross-Selling and Upselling: Maximize existing business relationships by offering tailored solutions and intelligent product segmentation.
  • Sales Coverage: Ensure comprehensive sales coverage of assigned customers, assessing and developing opportunities within Salesforce.
  • Networking and Collaboration: Interface with Sales and Marketing teams to ensure seamless coverage of Oil and Gas customers, and work closely with our EPC Contractor Manager and Tendering Team on related projects.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor and analyze market trends, size, and legislation, providing strategic direction to our UK sales organization.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: Hold a technical engineering qualification, minimum HNC level, or equivalent experience.
  • Industry Knowledge: Possess thorough knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry, applications, and legislation.
  • Networking and Communication: Develop and maintain a strong contact base within the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Marketing and Sales: Demonstrate good marketing experience or a willingness to learn, and possess extensive sales experience.
