About the Role

Huntingdonshire District Council is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Personal Assistant to join our Executive Support team. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive and work closely with senior leadership to deliver exceptional outcomes for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Assistant to the CEO, including meeting organisation, email management, and document preparation.
  • Support the Corporate Directors on a day-to-day basis, assisting with tasks such as report writing, data analysis, and presentation preparation.
  • Work closely with the senior leadership team to ensure the smooth operation of the CEO's office and other senior leadership offices.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including council members, partners, and suppliers.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of projects and initiatives that support the council's strategic objectives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent administrative skills, including proficiency in MS Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). You will also need to be a great communicator, able to work effectively with a range of stakeholders and build strong relationships. Additionally, you will need to be highly organised, able to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
