Our salary for this position is estimated to be around £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.

About the Job

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Visiting Support Officer to join our Older Peoples Visiting Support Service in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. In this role, you will work closely with clients in community settings, helping them understand their options and navigate available services.

As a Visiting Support Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining clients' independence and providing them with the support they need to thrive. Your flexibility, creativity, and problem-solving skills will be invaluable assets in this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit clients in community settings, providing support and guidance on available services
  • Help clients navigate complex systems and make informed decisions about their care
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A passion for supporting vulnerable individuals and communities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to meeting changing client needs
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
