Road Logistics Business Development Executive

Kuehne + Nagel is seeking a driven and experienced Road Logistics Business Development Manager to join our expanding team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving new business growth and strengthening our presence within the dynamic road logistics sector.
Your primary focus will be on identifying and capitalizing on lucrative opportunities within the EU road logistics market. You will manage a portfolio of high-value clients engaged in cross-border transportation between the UK and the EU, leveraging Kuehne + Nagel's established Tender Management Methodology to navigate RFI and RFQ processes effectively.
This position demands a collaborative approach as you will work closely with diverse teams across the organization to develop innovative solutions and enhance our existing product offerings. You will be responsible for providing regular updates on sales performance, pipeline progress, and key market trends.
Your Responsibilities:- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the road logistics industry.
- Manage a portfolio of high-value clients specializing in road movements between the UK and EU.
- Utilize Kuehne + Nagel's established Tender Management Methodology for RFI and RFQ processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and enhance product offerings.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline progress, and market trends.
- Proven experience in logistics and senior sales roles within the industry.
- In-depth knowledge of the EU road logistics market and its dynamics.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications for effective communication and data analysis.
- Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and a results-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented approach with the ability to analyze complex data and identify key insights.
