Accounts Clerk for In-House Training

Job Description: Working within a busy Purchase Ledger team, this candidate will be responsible for assisting with and completing various duties, including matching, checking, coding, and posting of large volumes of supplier invoices, processing staff expenses, making supplier payments via Bacs, reconciliation of supplier statements, and dealing with supplier enquiries.
The successful candidate will have previous experience of a busy purchase ledger environment, good working knowledge of Microsoft packages (especially Excel), and experience of finance function in a business with demonstrated ability for accuracy and speed. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are also essential, as well as evidence of analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications: Previous experience of a busy purchase ledger environment is essential. Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages (especially Excel) is required. Experience of finance function in a business with demonstrated ability for accuracy and speed is necessary. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Evidence of analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills is required.
Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
