**Purchase Ledger Assistant**

Are you an experienced accounts assistant / purchase ledger clerk considering and actively looking for a new position?

Our client is currently looking to recruit a **Purchase Ledger Assistant** to join their finance team.

**The Role**:

- Processing purchase invoices.
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Resolving invoicing queries
- Checking invoices against orders and ensuring prices match
- Issuing supplier payments
- Responding to queries in a timely manner.
- Other relevant ad hoc duties

**Your Experience**:

- Minimum 2 years previous experience in an accounts / purchase ledger position
- An accounts qualification (desirable)
- Educated to GCSE level or with a grade C or above in English or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar industry would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
