Artemis Human Capital are delighted to be working in partnership with a reputable privately owned, multi-site business based in Newry in their search for an **accounts receivable clerk.**

Operating for over 30 years, they are a longstanding company that have scaled successfully and have sites in NI and ROI. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced AR/credit professional to operate in a standalone capacity, having the autonomy to maintain the AR function and craft the role into your own.

This role will involve:

- Payment Processing
- recording and processing incoming payments using accounting software and ensuring payments are received promptly.
- Reconciliations - matching payments received with invoices issued to ensure accuracy.
- Collections - following up on overdue payments and communicating with customers to resolve outstanding issues.
- Customer Service - providing customers with support regarding billing enquiries and payment discrepancies.
- Invoicing - consolidated invoices & issuing credit notes.
- Reporting - generating reports an accounts receivable status, aging analysis.
- Documentation - maintaining accurate records of transactions, invoices, and correspondence with customers.

Experience required:

- Proven experience within AR/credit control.
- Solid IT skills - experience with use of Sage.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Time management and organisation - capable of adhering to reporting to deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both customers and colleagues.
- Solution orientated approach to problem solving.

Remuneration:

- Market leading salary - £28k-£32k
- Hybrid working - minimum of 2 days a week from home.
- Early finish of 3.30pm on Fridays.
