Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Business Manager to drive the effectiveness of our operating model by partnering with functional resources. As a Regional Cross-Asset Business Manager, you will support the Global Equities business, Algorithm business, and other Global Markets business lines in Europe.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a Business Manager, Business Analyst, Product Manager, Project Manager, Middle Office, Trader, Sales, or Structuring professional. A background in Capital Markets with knowledge of Equity, Equity Derivatives, and Fixed Income Products is essential.

Key responsibilities include optimizing operational effectiveness, infrastructure, regulatory readiness, risk management, and the control environment.

You will work closely with Product & Sales Business Managers and Business Heads on tactical and strategic projects, including product development, set-up implementation, expense management, meeting and presentation preparation, financial planning, trading, and sales ad hoc project work.

The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, confident, flexible, and resilient, and possess very good Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and data analysis.

What You Will Do

  • Support primarily the Cash Equity & Equity Derivatives business, Algorithm business, and secondarily any Cross-Asset topic between Global Equities and other GM business lines.
  • Optimize operational effectiveness, infrastructure, regulatory readiness, risk management, and the control environment.
  • Lead the delivery of organized solutions that address business problems or areas of weakness.
  • Operate within a prudent balance of strong governance and process while delivering an agile and dynamic execution capability.
  • Central liaison between Front Office and functional partners.
  • Work in close coordination with Product & Sales Business Managers and Business Heads on tactical and strategic projects.
  • Drive consensus on the articulation, direction, and delivery of initiatives.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Experience as a Business Manager, Business Analyst, Product Manager, Project Manager, Middle Office, Trader, Sales, or Structuring professional.
  • Previous experience in a Capital Markets environment with knowledge and experience of Equity, Equity Derivatives, and Fixed Income Products.
  • Strong familiarity with and understanding of key requirements and environment to build and support a trading and sales business.
  • Self-motivated, confident, flexible, and resilient.
  • Very good interpersonal skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and data analysis.
