Estamos buscando a un Senior Geotechnical Engineer para unirse a nuestro equipo altamente calificado en nuestra oficina de Birmingham, ubicada en el centro de la ciudad.

Las responsabilidades del puesto incluyen:

  1. Dirigir y realizar encargos en el Reino Unido y en el extranjero, apoyando la entrega de salidas de alta calidad.
  2. Actuar como gerente de encargo, produciendo y supervisando la entrega técnica, aspectos comerciales, controles financieros (pronósticos y presupuestos), planificación, recursos y resolución de problemas.
  3. Asistir con la organización y gestión del personal técnico, actuando como gerente de línea cuando sea necesario, mentorizando a ingenieros colegas, apoyando la contratación de personal, capacitación, CPD y la implementación de 'Mejores Prácticas' y procedimientos.
  4. Asistir a proporcionar recursos adecuados para la entrega exitosa de encargos en el Reino Unido y en el extranjero, maximizando los ingresos por honorarios.
  5. Asistir al Líder de Sector de Mercado para identificar y desarrollar oportunidades de negocio, producir ofertas y construir relaciones con clientes en el Reino Unido y en el extranjero.
  6. Título de grado en ingeniería civil con una postgrado en un tema relacionado con la geotécnica o la geología de ingeniería de una universidad o colegio acreditado.
  7. Experiencia en diseño detallado, incluyendo fundaciones profundas y superficiales (capacidad vertical y lateral, asentamiento), excavaciones profundas, sótanos, estructuras de contención, obras de tierra, ingeniería de pendientes de suelo y roca, mejoras de suelo, sismicidad y licuefacción e instrumentación y monitoreo.
  8. Conocimientos sólidos de procesos geotécnicos y geológicos de ingeniería y diseño, con un enfoque particular en la interpretación de datos, diseño y análisis, construcción y modelado numérico avanzado.
  9. Experiencia en investigación de suelos, incluyendo diseño, preparación de documentos de licitación, supervisión e interpretación.
  10. Comprensión de los procedimientos básicos de planificación de trabajo de ingeniería, programación y estimación de costos.
  11. Experiencia en gestión de personas, por ejemplo, bienestar general de empleados, realización de evaluaciones, capacitación y desarrollo, participación en actividades de resolución de recursos y contratación.
