About the Job:

As a Senior Payroll Administrator at JGA Recruitment, you will play a vital role in managing client payrolls, ensuring accurate and timely processing, and providing exceptional customer service. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in payroll administration, working closely with our experienced team.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client payrolls, including monthly and weekly payroll processing, and ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Process new starter and leaver procedures, including calculating and recording statutory payments
  • Stay up-to-date with HMRC regulations and ensure compliance
  • Support the administration of auto-enrolment pension schemes
  • Address client queries and escalate unresolved issues as needed

Requirements:

  • Experience in payroll administration, preferably within a bureau or accountancy setting
  • Proficiency in using accounting software, with experience in Sage Payroll being an advantage
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines

What We Offer:

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary of £33,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as the opportunity to work from home 4 days a week.
