Technical Services Librarian

We are seeking a skilled Technical Services Professional to join our team at Harvard University's Library Technology Services (LTS) and support the maintenance of resilient services that enable world-class research and teaching.
LTS provides technical support for enterprise library systems used by 800+ staff and 50,000+ students, faculty, and researchers. The successful candidate will provide functional support for LTS systems, troubleshoot reported problems, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into systems requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' post-secondary education or relevant work experience, preferably with a Master's in library and information science. Strong organizational skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff are essential qualifications.
Responsibilities:
- Provide functional support for LTS systems
- Troubleshoot reported problems and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless system performance
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
