Job Summary

A Compliance Expert is required to assist with the day-to-day running of the Compliance Department, ensuring all regulatory requirements are fulfilled, documented, and communicated in a professional manner.

About the Role
  • To oversee department activities in the absence of the Manager with one direct report.
  • To work collaboratively with Business Units to enhance compliance and strengthen business processes.
  • To support building Continuity Plans and improving current processes.
  • To manage the updating of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) documentation.
  • To conduct interviews and surveys to ensure employees comply with regulations across various departments.
  • To investigate the root cause of compliance issues when they arise.
  • To educate employees and partners through documentation on how to improve compliance.
  • To examine and improve auditing processes to resolve compliance issues promptly or prevent them entirely.
Requirements
  • Strong legal compliance experience and understanding of auditing principles.
  • Understanding of the importance of business controls and legal compliance.
  • An inquisitive nature, with the ability to question and investigate.
  • Friendly and personable, with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Thorough attention to detail, with precision in work delivery.
What We Offer

A competitive salary of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
