Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Safety Expert to join our team at Eisai. In this role, you will support the Head of Safety Evaluation, the Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance (EU QPPV), and the Eisai global safety community.

About the Role

As a Senior Pharmacovigilance Physician, you will provide a comprehensive Pharmacovigilance and Product Safety service to Eisai internationally and in Europe. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and effective reporting of adverse events and product issues.

Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for reviewing and processing individual case safety reports (ICSRs) and aggregate report submissions.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential safety risks associated with our products.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A UK GMC-approved or similar medical registration.
  • Demonstrated experience in post-registration clinical medicine.
  • Previous experience in pharmacovigilance, with a consistent record of strong contribution and success in tackling new challenges and responsibilities.
