About the Role: As a Compliance and Enforcement Officer at Transport for London, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our transport network. Your primary responsibility will be to enforce compliance with rules and regulations across various modes of transport, including buses, trains, trams, ferry services, and taxis.

This is a challenging and dynamic role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with our operations team to identify potential risks and take proactive measures to mitigate them. You will also be responsible for attending court to provide evidence when required.

We offer a competitive salary of £19,204, rising to £21,430 after 1 year, plus a non-consolidated shift allowance of up to 15%. Our comprehensive benefits package includes free travel on the TfL network, reimbursement of National Rail travel costs, and a final salary pension scheme.

Responsibilities:
  1. Enforce compliance with rules and regulations across various modes of transport
  2. Identify potential risks and take proactive measures to mitigate them
  3. Work closely with operations teams to ensure smooth operation of transport services
  4. Attend court to provide evidence when required

Requirements:
  • 18 years old or over and eligible to work in the UK
  • Ability to pass a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
