Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a Housing Compliance and Enforcement Officer to join our Private Sector Housing team at Sevenoaks District Council. In this role, you will be responsible for enforcing housing standards, ensuring private sector residential accommodation meets statutory requirements.

You will work closely with our team to identify areas of non-compliance and take necessary action to address these issues. This will include inspecting properties, serving notices, and attending court proceedings when necessary.

A salary of £38,000 - £48,000 per annum is available for this exciting opportunity. You will be based at our Council Offices, with a hybrid working model allowing for a mix of office and home working.

Our estimated salary range for this position considers factors such as location and industry standards. Your individual salary may be higher or lower than this range, depending on your experience and qualifications.
