Electrical Systems Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at Active Personnel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and installation tasks on electrical systems, including CCTV, speed cameras, and ANPR equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and test electrical systems in accordance with the 18th edition standards.
  • Fault finding and analysis on electrical installations, supply cables, CCTV networks, and street furniture.
  • Perform fusion splicing, cable jointing, and fiber cable fault finding using light source/power meter testing.
  • Installation and maintenance of road cameras, luminaires, and other roadside infrastructure.
  • Participate in an out-of-hours call rota system.

Requirements:

  • Experience in electrical systems installation and maintenance.
  • Strong fault-finding skills with the ability to analyze electrical equipment and camera systems.
  • Knowledge of CCTV and camera network infrastructure (desirable but not essential).
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including shifts, nights, and weekends.
