Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team in the parcel industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for exceeding new business targets, building strong relationships with customers, and developing market sector development plans within their territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exceeding new business targets by identifying and qualifying customer opportunities for new product sales.
  • Building close and effective working relationships with a network of contacts within prospective customers.
  • Developing and implementing market sector development plans within their own catchment area.
  • Identifying and qualifying customer opportunities for new product sales and developing and broadening relationships with existing customers.
  • Maximising sales penetration within each customer by selling the complete range of services.
  • Defining target lists of customer prospects based on clearly defined criteria.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience within the delivery/logistics/parcel sector.
  • Strong sales skills, including prospecting, qualifying, networking, and campaign management.
  • Detailed understanding of the sales process and demonstration of world-class sales rigor, hunger, and determination.
  • Proven sales ability with historic success at exceeding new business targets.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities, including facilitating discussions.
