Job Summary

The successful candidate will play a key role in the strategic management, development, and performance of our services, with a focus on delivering high-quality care and improving outcomes for our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head of Service in the development and implementation of strategic plans and objectives, ensuring alignment with the Partnership's key objectives and priorities.
  • Lead the delivery of safe standards of community health and social care, ensuring a focus on service user safety, effective management of resources, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide professional and operational leadership to the services, including Social Work practice and Health and Social Care Governance arrangements.
  • Manage a range of Community Health and Social Care resources, securing operational delivery of services and ensuring optimum use of available resources.
  • Deputise for the Chief Social Work Officer as required, providing leadership and guidance to the multi-disciplinary team.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

Regulated Work experience with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.Strong leadership and management skills, with experience of managing teams and resources.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders and service users.Knowledge of Health and Social Care policies and procedures, with a focus on quality improvement and service user-centered care.Working Arrangements

The post is a full-time permanent position, based within Locality Services. The workstyle is flexible, with 50-79% of time spent in an office location or multiple work locations. The successful candidate will work at their administrative base or another agreed office location between 2.5 to 4 days per week, with occasional remote working.
