Essential Employment is seeking a highly skilled and organized Court Operations Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Coroners Court, including managing the telephone service and front-facing service of the court, handling case management for death referrals, and supporting the Coroner as a court usher.

The estimated salary for this role is £16.15 per hour.

Job Description:Responsibilities:

As a Court Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Coroners Court by providing administrative support to the Coroner and other staff members. This includes managing the telephone service and front-facing service of the court, handling case management for death referrals, and supporting the Coroner as a court usher for in-person, remote, and hybrid inquests.

Key Duties:
  1. Manage the telephone service and front-facing service of the court, providing professional customer service to clients and stakeholders.
  2. Handle case management for death referrals and interrogate IT systems to update and retrieve information.
  3. Support the Coroner as a court usher for in-person, remote, and hybrid inquests.
  4. Manage the jury as jury bailiff during jury inquests.
  5. Operate court audio conferencing equipment.
  6. Oversee court diary management.
  7. Process information requests and press enquiries.
  8. Archive case files and court records.
  9. Process financial orders and invoices.
  10. Maintain and update the court's website.
