About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology to join our team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board NHS. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with gynaecological conditions.

The ideal candidate will have a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Gynaecological Oncology and be registered with the GMC's specialist register or within six months of obtaining this at the time of interview.

Responsibilities
  • Providing high-quality patient care and treatment
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Teaching and training junior medical staff

The successful candidate will have experience in training grade posts, equivalent training accepted by College/GMC, MRCOG or equivalent qualification, and full GMC registration.

RequirementsEssential Criteria
  • Appropriate experience in training grade posts at SpR/SR/STR leading to accreditation or CCT
  • Equivalent training accepted by College/GMC for Specialist Register (CESR)
  • MRCOG or equivalent
  • Inclusion on Specialist Register of GMC or eligible for award of CCT Gynaecology Oncology within 6 months of interview
  • Full GMC registration
  • Good interpersonal skills

  • Ability to develop services within the Health Board
  • Adaptability to changing needs of service
  • Work in pressured environment
  • Teach and train junior medical staff
