We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Medical Care Professional to join our team on the Acute Medical Unit (AMU) at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB). The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality patient care and be committed to working collaboratively with others to achieve excellent outcomes.

The AMU is a 23-bedded acute medical unit managing the admission, assessment, and treatment of patients with varied medical conditions. We offer a supportive and inclusive work environment, where you can develop your clinical skills and expertise with in-house training and support.

Main duties of the job:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate evidenced-based nursing care
  • Work collaboratively and cooperatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families
  • Participate in the education, development, and supervision of other staff members
