About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated and organised storeman to join our team in Peterborough. Reporting directly to the supply chain manager, you will play a vital role in managing and organising our warehouse and yard, ensuring materials are collected and allocated efficiently to the right jobs. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a well-organised workspace.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the collection and allocation of materials to various jobs
  • Maintain the organisation and housekeeping of the warehouse and yard
  • Contact suppliers for pricing
  • Place material orders
  • Safely handle and store materials in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Provide support in other supply chain activities as needed
