Position Overview: As the Production Team Leader (FLM), you will take full ownership of the corrugator process at CorrBoard's Scunthorpe plant, managing everything from the production of corrugated boards and single-face products to palletization. You will ensure the health, safety, and well-being of your team while efficiently handling administrative duties. In this role, you will also be responsible for driving team performance and ensuring that all business targets are met or exceeded. Key Responsibilities: Report and review machine breakdowns, ensuring swift decision-making. Address performance issues promptly and effectively. Conduct regular one-to-one meetings with team members to review performance and well-being. Ensure safety observations are completed for both yourself and your team. Take personal responsibility for your safety and that of those around you. Report all accidents and near misses, ensuring immediate corrective actions are taken. Oversee quality observations for yourself and your team, ensuring adherence to company procedures. Champion quality control procedures to achieve company objectives. Ensure operators perform quality checks at every critical manufacturing stage. Manage trials and sample collections as required by the role. Ensure production is completed professionally within the required timeframe. Input all necessary data accurately and efficiently. Coordinate Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) with Engineering and the Line Manager. Communicate required training, briefings, and safety standards to team members. Coordinate breaks fairly throughout the shift. Identify and raise any justifiable process improvements. Ensure adherence to operating standards, addressing any issues that arise. Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensure all process checks are completed. Be flexible in supporting other areas of the operation and warehouse processes as needed. Provide cover for the Production Manager when necessary. Skills and Knowledge Required: To be considered for the Production Team Leader (FLM) role, you should ideally have experience in a packaging, manufacturing, or FMCG environment. A strong understanding of team performance, leadership, and well-being is also essential.
