We have an opportunity for an Assistant Co-ordinator to join our team in North Lincolnshire. Working in a Logistics environment (warehousing and transport). The role involves assisting the Logistics Coordinator with all aspects of planning, coordination, and administration within a Logistics environment (warehousing and transport). The post will provide all aspects of administrative support to the Secure Contracts business including purchasing, general administration, and the preparation of reporting information both internally and specific retention and stock management reporting to our client base. The role also includes assisting with the logging of requests for work and warehouse auditing.
The post holder will also be responsible for deputising for the Logistics Coordinator in their absence, assisting with the Health & Safety compliance for the contracts, planning of courier and warehouse resources, with specific responsibility for reporting within the areas of data protection and risk management.
Some of the other duties the Assistant Coordinator will be responsible for is the maintenance and records management of files containing sensitive and privileged information on behalf of our Justice and Immigration contracts and will act as the primary point of contact for client queries regarding the services provided on the contract and will lead on resolving errors on requests for service.
The post is Lincolnshire based, but there is also a requirement for travel to our Oxfordshire facility as well as Client locations.
**What you need to do the job**:
An understanding of SAP would be an advantage but is not essential as training will be provided.
The post holder will be working on a Home Office contract and will be required to undergo and attain enhanced SC security vetting, a process which is exempt from the rehabilitation of offenders’ act.
Working in this environment requires a high degree of confidentiality and discretion.
