This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Sales and Business Development Professional, where you will play a key role in driving growth and success within the Food Industry.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to take on this challenging and rewarding role, working closely with our Marketing team to identify key players and source new sales opportunities through inbound lead qualification. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in telesales environments, making dozens of dials per day, and be proficient with Microsoft Office.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum

Location: This is a hybrid role based in Corby, offering a great work-life balance. You will be predominantly selling to Quality, Technical and Process improvement type people.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike. They will also possess a high level of autonomy, with the freedom to work independently and make decisions that drive results.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Working closely with our Marketing team to identify key players and source new sales opportunities through inbound lead qualification.
  2. Outbound cold calls and emails by data (i.e. LinkedIn) and support the sales team with customer mapping activities.
  3. Routing qualified leads and opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
  4. Maintaining and expanding your database of prospects and updating the CRM (SalesForce) accordingly.
  5. Interacting with customers after sales concerning lead times for customer and any after sale services required.

Requirements:

  1. Be proficient with Microsoft Office.
  2. Have proven success within a telesales environment and experience of making dozens of dials per day.
