Learning Support Assistant Job Vacancy

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our SEMH Specialist Resource Base team.

In this role, you will work closely with our SEMH Specialist Teacher to provide high-quality support to students with additional needs.

Job Description:
  • Develop and implement a tailored curriculum to meet individual student needs
  • Collaborate with the SEMH Specialist Teacher to prepare the learning environment and undertake administrative tasks
  • Support students in learning to read, leading PE and Games sessions, participating in school trips and residentials, and mentoring/tutoring individual students
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience of working with children with SEMH
  • Passion for supporting and educating primary-aged children
  • Commitment to being a positive, nurturing, and supportive role model

The estimated salary for this position is £30,000-£45,000 per annum, and we offer a range of benefits, including a generous pension scheme, health scheme, cycle-to-work scheme, and investment in professional development.
