Behaviour Support Mentor

This is a full-time Behaviour Support Mentor position available at a dynamic Secondary school in Sunderland. As a Behaviour Support Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students with challenging behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to manage and support pupils with challenging behaviour.
  • Collaborate with teachers, Heads of House, and support staff to promote effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Work with parents to improve individual children's behaviour and ensure effective communication between school and home.
  • Raise self-esteem and confidence of pupils to improve their personal and social skills.
  • Monitor progress in improving behaviour and maintain improvements once made.
